New Delhi ( The Indian View team) : In the FIH Hockey World Cup, the Indian women’s team will take on Australia tonight. India must win this match to stay in contention for a semi-final berth.
The Pool E match will begin at 10:30 PM. India’s qualification will also depend on the result of the earlier match between China and the Netherlands.
India needs China to lose that match. If China wins, India will be eliminated, even with a win over Australia.
The Netherlands have already qualified for the semi-finals with six points. China have two points, while India and Australia have one point each. So, it is a must-win game for all three teams still in contention.
